For her first artist inspired collection in 2010 Lisa Perry used images from 1960's photographers Nat Finkelstein and Carl Fischer to create a limited edition collection of unique and sophisticated dresses and t-shirts featuring iconic images of Andy Warhol and Edie Sedgwick.

On a trip to Tucson Arizona, Lisa discovered the prints at the Eric Firestone Gallery and this spawned the first Lisa Perry artist inspired collection, featuring three very famous prints: Fischer’s Andy Warhol in a Soup Can, and Finkelstein’s Andy with Newspaper and Edie with Chain.

The rights to this photo, which appeared on the cover of Esquire magazine in 1969, were secured from photographer Carl Fischer himself for this collection.

Upon seeing the photograph of Andy Warhol drowning in a sea of soup, Perry thought to herself “this would be a phenomenal dress!”
